Amazing lost gem from House of Usher Music! This is a never-before-released track from the Celestium recording sessions in 1982. It was produced by Gary Usher and written with the incredible Tom Kelly, also on vocals. Stefrika was a project song written for a young girl who was gravely ill. The song was to be commissioned for a short film, Intended to be animated. It was finished after the Celestium record was released on Sony Records. So, this fantasy-styled styled beautifully colored song sits within its own space among the clouds and the sky. I watched as this song came to life at Preferred Sound Studios in Woodland Hills. Right down the street from my High School. I would bring my friends in for listening sessions at lunch. The ultra rare Synclavier synthesiser was used extensively on this. We made full use of it anytime we could get it, as there were only a couple available in L.A. at the time. Tom would usually come in after a an early morning round of Golf at the Calabasas Country club, and he would sing like an angel. So much character in his voice. Under my Dads production guidance, the pair worked magic. Truly a treasure within the vaults at House of Usher Music!
